At the General Election to be held on November 8th (and beginning September 29th for those voting early), you will be called upon to adopt or reject this proposal to add a new Section (Section 11) to the Revenue Article (Article IX) of the Illinois Constitution that provides that revenue generated from transportation related taxes and fees ("transportation funds") shall be used exclusively for transportation related purposes.
