Rep. Cavaletto was born on June 8, 1940. He is a graduate Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he received both his Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Education.
He taught for many years at Mater Dei High School, located in Breese, and was an administrator at Salem High School. Additionally, Rep. Cavaletto coached boys basketball. He and his wife Connie have three sons and three grandchildren.
